Draughting of all structural steel, coordinating with various disciplines, coordinating with concrete drafter to make sure everything is aligned, reviewing and approving shop drawings, dealing with rfi's and making sure that all deadlines are met.
Role on the project:

Responsible for Tender and Construction Drawings for the structural steel domed roof. Microstation was used for the initial tender and construction drawings due to time constraints, it was then modelled in revit.
Fourways Mall Shopping Centre, South Africa
Senior Structural Draftsman
Draughting of structural steel roofs, shopfronts, concrete slabs, interface detailing between new and existing structure. Coordinating with various disciplines and making sure all deadlines are met.
Role on the project:

Responsible for structural steel and concrete drawings on various parts of the project. Revit was used for the documentation of drawings on this project. This Mall has the largest retail space in South Africa the project took just over four years to complete.
Madinate Jumerah, Dubai
Senior Structural Drafting Office Manager
Draughting of columns, slabs, reinforcement. Coordinating with engineers in Dubai and various disciplines on the project. Preparing documentation for approval for Dubai Municipality. Setting up drawing office and managing drafters in Dubai Making sure all deadlines are met.
Andre’s key contributions included:

Responsible concrete drawings on various parts of the project. Microstation was used for the documentation of drawings on this project.

I was also in Dubai for a period to help set up the drawing office and manage the drafting staff who were new to using microstation.
