Road and Stormwater design upgrades
Typical Project Scope
Stormwater Drainage Design, including Water Quality (WSUD), Water Quantity (OSD) and Stormwater Management Reporting.
Detailed Site Grading Design
Bulk Earthworks and Pavement Boxing Design
Erosion and Sediment Control Plans
Rigid and Flexible Pavement Designs
Retaining Wall Designs
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Civil Engineering Designs and coordinate with Drafters to deliver professional, concise and consistent quality Civil Design Documentation.
Undertake detailed Civil Designs using Civil3d, including site grading, bulk earthworks, roads and pavement boxing.
Undertake detailed stormwater designs utilising DRAINS and MUSIC, including stormwater drainage for roads and carparks, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) to meet water quality objectives and On-site Stormwater Detention (OSD) systems to meet site discharge requirements.
Completion of tasks on time, with accuracy and to agreed specifications.
Ensure that work meets quality system and client requirements, as well as complying with Australian standards, codes, compliance, government and industry regulation.
Recommend solutions to design issues and methodology that will improve efficiencies and output.
Take ownership of projects whilst managing a high standard of document control.
Consult with relevant regulatory authorities/stakeholders to understand all expectations for approval of the Civil Design to ensure continuity of the project.
Essential Criteria
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
A positive work ethic and an excellent team player.
Hands-on experience as a Civil Design Engineer across a range of projects, utilising Civil3d, DRAINS and MUSIC software.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Analytical and problem solving abilities.
Ability to build and maintain effective professional working relationships.

Software Requirements
