Overview
We are seeking a talented Snr Civil Engineer to support the national Civil Engineering Team across different states, and help optimize and develop Triaxial’s Civil Design capabilities and systems.
The role of the Snr Civil Engineer will include the design and design management of civil and stormwater engineering elements for a wide range of projects within the industrial, residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors. The role will also include ongoing coordination with clients and consultants to manage and deliver projects and the mentoring of junior Civil Engineers and Drafters,

Typical Project Scope
Stormwater Drainage Design, including Water Quality (WSUD), Water Quantity (OSD) and Stormwater Management Reporting.

Rigid and Flexible Pavement Designs
Retaining Wall Designs
Key Responsibilities
Deliver civil engineering projects and designs while coordinating with engineers and drafters to deliver professional, concise and consistent quality civil design documentation.
Undertake QA checks of civil engineering designs, including models, calculations and drawings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to support successful project delivery and business growth
Undertake detailed stormwater designs utilising DRAINS and MUSIC, including stormwater drainage for roads and carparks, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) to meet water quality objectives and On-site Stormwater Detention (OSD) systems to meet site discharge requirements.
Preparation of Basis of Design and Stormwater Management Reports to gain statutory approvals.
Competence and high-level understanding of project scope, time and cost requirements to meet objectives and the preparation of multi-disciplinary fee proposals.
Ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity from fee proposal stage through to completion and billing.
Completion of tasks on time, with accuracy and to agreed specifications.
Ensure that all deliverables meet the quality system and client requirements, as well as complying with Australian standards, codes, compliance, government and industry regulation.
Provide input and suggestions to help resolve design issues and implement methodologies that will improve efficiencies and output.
Mentoring/managing other members of the Team.
Keep all key internal and external stakeholders informed of progress in relation to schedule and budget.
Take ownership of projects whilst managing a high standard of document control.
Consult with relevant regulatory authorities/stakeholders to understand all expectations for approval of the civil design to ensure continuity of the project.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot any relevant construction/engineering issues which may arise.

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
